In Saturday's non-league contest, the IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX) volleyball squad edged the host Monte Alto Blue Devil (Monte Alto, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the battle the Porter Cowboys (Brownsville, TX) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, August 12. IDEA Frontier College Prep will attempt to better on its 4-3 season record. The Cowboys come into the contest with a 3-0 record after their 2-1 non-league win over IDEA Frontier College Prep (Brownsville, TX).

With the loss, Monte Alto drops to 1-1 on the campaign. The Blue devil travel to Rivera (Brownsville, TX) to battle the Raiders in a non-league contest on Thursday, August 17.
