The Jackson County Panthers held off the visiting Jefferson Dragons volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Panthers now have a 7-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Shiloh for a 6A Area 8 test on Tuesday, August 15. Jackson County will confront a Generals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Fannin County (Blue Ridge, GA). The Generals record now stands at 2-5.

The Dragons (5-1) will now prepare for their test against Monroe Area (Monroe, GA). The Purple Hurricanes enter the non-league test with a 5-1 record. In their last test, Monroe Area held off Young Americans Christian (Conyers, GA), 2-0, in a non-league test.
