The Sequoyah Indians held off the visiting Locust Grove Pirates volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Indians now have a 2-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carl Albert for a non-league test on Sunday, August 13. Sequoyah will confront a Titans team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to Sapulpa (Sapulpa, OK). The Titans record now stands at 0-5.

The Pirates (0-2) will now prepare for their test against Hale (Tulsa, OK). The Rangers enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Hale was nudged by Pryor (Pryor, OK), 3-0, in a non-league test.
