In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Rider Raiders volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Temple Wildcats.
The Raiders (8-3) will now prepare for their battle against Lancaster (Lancaster, TX). The Tigers come into the non-league battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Lancaster achieved victory over Shoemaker (Killeen, TX), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Wildcats clash with the Pflugerville Connally Cougars (Austin, TX) in a non-league battle, on Tuesday, August 15. Temple will attempt to advance on its 0-7 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 1-2 record after their 2-1 non-league loss to Copperas Cove (Copperas Cove, TX).
