Croatan Cougars (Newport, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Monday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host South Central Falcons (Winterville, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Croatan improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC) to encounter the Hurricanes in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 13. The Hurricanes go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Falcons now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoggard for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 14.
