With the win, North Brunswick improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Scorpions travel to South Columbus (Tabor City, NC) to encounter the Stallions in a non-league test on Tuesday, August 13. The Stallions go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Patriots now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Wallace-Rose Hill for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 14. Pender will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-1 non-league win over Heide Trask (Rocky Point, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
