The Bearcats (1-1) will now prepare for their bout against Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA). The Yellow Jackets go into the non-league bout with a 2-3 record. In their last bout, Thomas County Central tipped Lowndes (Valdosta, GA), 10-2, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Pirates battle the Baconton Charter Blazers (Baconton, GA) in a 1A D-II Region 1 bout, on Tuesday, August 13. Miller County will attempt to advance on its 2-2 season record. The Blazers go into the bout with a 0-2 record after their 18-10 non-league loss to Southland Academy (Americus, GA).
