The Mustang Broncos softball team scored 5 runs and held the host Edmond North Huskies to 2 in the Broncos league win on Monday.

The Broncos now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry for a non-league battle on Friday, August 16. Mustang will confront a Maroons team coming off a 6-2 non-league win over Purcell (Purcell, OK). The Maroons record now stands at 2-0.

With the loss, Edmond North moves to 0-1 on the season. The Huskies travel to Muskogee (Muskogee, OK) to confront the Roughers in a 6A District 4 battle on Tuesday, August 13. The Roughers come into the battle with a record of 0-1. Muskogee lost 13-3 in their recent league battle against Ponca City (Ponca City, OK)
