The crowd at Monday's non-league bout between the Stephens County Indians (Toccoa, GA) and the visiting Habersham Central Raiders (Mt. Airy, GA), observed Stephens County's softball team prevail over Habersham Central by a tally of 10-2.

The Indians (6-0) will now prepare for their bout against Commerce (Commerce, GA). The Tigers go into the non-league bout with a 1-2 record. In their last bout, Commerce was routed by Cherokee Bluff (Flowery Branch, GA), 10-9, in a non-league bout.

In their next game, the Raiders clash with the Clarke Central Gladiators (Athens, GA) in a 5A Region 8 bout, on Thursday, August 15. Habersham Central will attempt to advance on its 0-5 season record. The Gladiators go into the bout with a 4-2 record after their 6-2 non-league loss to Oglethorpe County (Lexington, GA).
