Mississippi High School Volleyball - Jackson Prep over Central Hinds Academy

Fans at Monday's non-league contest between the Jackson Prep Patriots (Jackson, MS) and the visiting Central Hinds Academy Cougars (Raymond, MS), observed Jackson Prep's volleyball team top Central Hinds Academy by a count of 3-0.

The Patriots (4-4) will now prepare for their contest against Presbyterian Christian (Hattiesburg, MS). The Bobcats enter the MAIS contest with a 3-0 record. In their last contest, Presbyterian Christian notched a victory over St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS), 3-0, in a non-league contest.

Next, the Cougars battle the Lamar Raiders (Meridian, MS) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 15. Central Hinds Academy will attempt to move on its 0-3 season record. The Raiders enter the contest with a 4-2 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Union (Union, MS).
