Southwest EC Eagles (El Centro, CA) fans went home in high spirits Tuesday as they saw their flag football team achieve victory over the visiting Holtville Vikings (Holtville, CA), 19-2 in a league battle.

With the win, Southwest EC improves its record to 2-0 on the season. The Eagles travel to San Ysidro (San Diego, CA) to play the Cougars in a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. The Cougars go into the battle with a record of 2-0. San Ysidro won 18-6 in their recent non-league battle against Olympian (Chula Vista, CA)

The Vikings now have a 0-2 record. They play next when they travel to Central for a non-league challenge on Monday, August 18. Holtville will face a Spartans team coming off a 26-6 non-league loss to Granite Hills (El Cajon, CA). The Spartans record now stands at 0-1.
