The Appling County Pirates (Baxley, GA) softball routed the visiting Ware County Gators (Waycross, GA), 8-0 in Tuesday's non-league outing.
The Pirates now sport a 3-0 record. They take the field next when they host Wheeler County for a non-league test on Wednesday, August 13. Appling County will clash with a Bulldogs squad coming off a 8-0 non-league win over Johnson County (Wrightsville, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-1.
The Gators (0-3) will now prepare for their test against Camden County (Kingsland, GA). The Wildcats go into the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, Camden County was routed by Long County (Ludowici, GA), 6-0, in a non-league outing.
