The Hennessey Eagles edged the visiting Cashion Wildcats softball squad by a count of 14-13 in Tuesday's league battle.
The Eagles now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Perry for a non-league battle on Tuesday, August 19.
With the defeat, Cashion drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Kiefer (Kiefer, OK) to meet the Trojans in a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 14. The Trojans go into the challenge with a record of 1-0. Kiefer won 5-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Sperry (Sperry, OK)
