The crowd at Tuesday's non-league bout between the David Emanuel Academy Eagles (Stillmore, GA) and the visiting Edmund Burke Academy Spartans (Waynesboro, GA), observed David Emanuel Academy's softball team get by Edmund Burke Academy by a tally of 7-3.
The Eagles (2-0) will now prepare for their bout against Bulloch Academy (Statesboro, GA). The Gators go into the non-league bout with a 1-6 record. In their last bout, Bulloch Academy tipped Mount de Sales Academy (Macon, GA), 14-2, in a non-league bout.
In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Screven County Gamecocks (Sylvania, GA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, August 18. Edmund Burke Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-2 season record. The Gamecocks go into the bout with a 4-1 record after their 5-4 league win over Bryan County (Pembroke, GA).
