The Earlsboro Wildcats triumphed over the visiting Macomb Hornets softball squad by a count of 9-1 in Tuesday's non-league challenge.

Next, the Wildcats play the Asher Indians (Asher, OK) in a Class B challenge, on Thursday, August 14. Earlsboro will attempt to upgrade on its 2-0 season record. The Indians enter the challenge with a 2-1 record after their 9-8 non-league win over Stratford (Stratford, OK).

The Hornets (1-1) will now prepare for their battle against Strother (Seminole, OK). The Yellowjackets come into the Class A battle with a 1-0 record. In their last battle, Strother ran past New Lima (New Lima, OK), 12-11, in a league battle.
