The Newkirk Tigers routed the host Stroud Tigers softball team by a final score of 15-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Tigers now possess a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Bishop Kelley for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14. Newkirk will confront a Comets team coming off a 16-0 non-league win over Catoosa (Catoosa, OK). The Comets record now stands at 1-0.

The Tigers (0-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Tonkawa (Tonkawa, OK). The Buccaneers enter the 2A challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Tonkawa overcame Pawhuska (Pawhuska, OK), 15-0, in a non-league challenge.
