The Strother Yellowjackets softball team scored 24 runs and held the visiting Sasakwa Vikings to 0 in the Yellowjackets non-league win on Tuesday.

The Yellowjackets now sport a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bowlegs for a Class A challenge on Thursday, August 14. Strother will meet a Bison squad coming off a 16-3 league loss to Wetumka (Wetumka, OK). The Bison record now stands at 2-1.

The Vikings (0-2) will now prepare for their challenge against New Lima (New Lima, OK). The Falcons go into the non-league challenge with a 0-1 record. In their last challenge, New Lima was routed by Earlsboro (Earlsboro, OK), 10-0, in a non-league battle.
