The Alief Taylor Lions volleyball squad (Houston, TX), was edged 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Morton Ranch Mavericks (Katy, TX)

With the win, Morton Ranch improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Mavericks travel to Cypress Woods (Cypress, TX) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14. The Wildcats enter the contest with a record of 0-0.
