With the win, Ganado improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Indians travel to Faith Academy (Victoria, TX) to face the Cougars in a non-league test on Friday, August 15. The Cougars go into the test with a record of 0-0.

The Bobcats/Lady Cats now have a 0-1 record. They play next when they travel to Sweeny for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 14. Bloomington will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-1 non-league win over Danbury (Danbury, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 1-0.
