Ripley Tigers (Ripley, MS) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Clarksdale Wildcats (Clarksdale, MS), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Tigers (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Clarksdale (Clarksdale, MS). The Wildcats come into the non-league challenge with a 1-0 record. In their last challenge, Clarksdale beat Rosa Fort (Tunica, MS), 3-0, in a non-league test.

The Wildcats now sport a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ripley for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 12. Clarksdale will face a Tigers squad coming off a 3-0 non-league win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MS). The Tigers record now stands at 2-1.
