Crisp County Cougars (Cordele, GA) backers were pleased Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team tip the visiting Perry Panthers (Perry, GA), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Cougars (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Pierce County (Blackshear, GA). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 1-5 record.

Next, the Panthers play the Academy for Classical Education Gryphons (Macon, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 14. Perry will attempt to advance on its 4-4 season record. The Gryphons go into the game with a 6-2 record after their 2-0 league win over Northeast (Macon, GA).
