John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their volleyball team overcome the visiting Gloria Deo Academy Lions (Bulverde, TX), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Guardians (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Cole (San Antonio, TX). The Cougars come into the non-league challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Cole was beaten by Hondo (Hondo, TX), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions face the DaVinci Lions (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league test, on Thursday, August 14. Gloria Deo Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-1 season record.
