The Stanton Buffaloes (Stanton, TX) volleyball held off the host Grady Wildcats (Lenorah, TX), 3-2 in Tuesday's non-league contest.
The Buffaloes (1-0) will now prepare for their contest against Loraine (Loraine, TX). The Bulldogs enter the non-league contest with a 0-1 record. In their last contest, Loraine was tipped by Ballinger (Ballinger, TX), 3-0, in a non-league contest.
Next, the Wildcats battle the Cornerstone Christian Lions (San Angelo, TX) in a non-league battle, on Friday, August 15. Grady will attempt to improve on its 0-1 season record. The Lions go into the battle with a 0-1 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX).
