The Memorial Day Matadors edged the visiting Savannah Classical Academy Spartans volleyball squad by a final score of 2-1 in Tuesday's non-league game.
Next up, the Matadors face the Savannah Athletic Association Jaguars (Bloomingdale, GA) in a non-league game, on Thursday, August 14. Memorial Day will attempt to advance on its 1-0 season record. The Jaguars come into the outing with a 0-2 record after their 3-0 non-league loss to Faith Baptist Christian Academy (Ludowici, GA).
With the loss, Savannah Classical Academy drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Spartans travel to Beach (Savannah, GA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league outing on Tuesday, August 12. The Bulldogs come into the outing with a record of 0-0.
