Texas High School Volleyball - St. John's over George Ranch

St. John's Mavericks (Houston, TX) backers left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad top the visiting George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX), 2-0 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Mavericks battle the Pearland Oilers (Pearland, TX) in a non-league match, on Tuesday, August 16. St. John's will attempt to better on its 2-2 season record. The Oilers come into the match with a 7-3 record after their 2-0 non-league win over St. Agnes Academy (Houston, TX).

With the loss, George Ranch drops to 5-5 on the campaign. The Longhorns travel to Clemens (Schertz, TX) to battle the Buffaloes in a non-league match on Saturday, August 13. The Buffaloes come into the match with a record of 4-3. Clemens lost 2-1 in their recent non-league match against New Braunfels (New Braunfels, TX)
