The Oxford Chargers topped the visiting Lafayette Commodores volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Chargers now have a 8-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Brandon for a non-league test on Saturday, August 13. Oxford will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 3-0 non-league win over St. Andrew's Episcopal (Ridgeland, MS). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-1.

The Commodores (2-3) will now prepare for their test against New Hope (Columbus, MS). The Trojans enter the non-league test with a 2-0 record. In their last test, New Hope gained a win over Caledonia (Caledonia, MS), 3-1, in a non-league game.
