The Yellowjackets (1-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Franklin (Franklin, NC). The Panthers come into the non-league challenge with a 3-0 record. In their last challenge, Franklin beat Murphy (Murphy, NC), 2-0, in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Mustangs meet the North Buncombe Black Hawks (Weaverville, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, August 19. Smoky Mountain will attempt to upgrade on its 1-1 season record. The Black Hawks come into the challenge with a 1-0 record after their 2-0 non-league win over Mitchell (Bakersville, NC).
