The Southside Seahawks volleyball squad (Chocowinity, NC), was defeated 3-0 in Tuesday's non-league battle with the host Greene Central Rams (Snow Hill, NC)
With the win, Greene Central improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Rams host Beddingfield (Wilson, NC) to encounter the Bruins in a non-league battle on Wednesday, August 14. The Bruins go into the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Seahawks now own a 0-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to West Craven for a non-league battle on Thursday, August 15. Southside will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Pamlico County (Bayboro, NC). The Eagles record now stands at 0-2.
