The Archer Tigers triumphed over the host South Gwinnett Comets softball team by a margin of 20-1 in Wednesday's league battle.
The Tigers now sport a 2-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rockdale County for a 6A Region 4 battle on Thursday, August 14. Archer will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 15-0 non-league win over Salem (Conyers, GA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
With the loss, South Gwinnett drops to 1-2 on the campaign. The Comets travel to Heritage (Conyers, GA) to meet the Patriots in a 6A Region 4 outing on Thursday, August 14. The Patriots come into the outing with a record of 0-1. Heritage lost 16-4 in their recent non-league outing against Lakeside (Atlanta, GA)
