The Forbush Falcons held off the visiting Alleghany Trojans volleyball team by a score of 2-1 in Monday's non-league test.

The Falcons now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Elkin for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 15.

The Trojans (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Surry Central (Dobson, NC). The Golden Eagles enter the non-league test with a 0-1 record. In their last test, Surry Central was nudged by East Wilkes (Ronda, NC), 2-1, in a non-league test.
