North Carolina High School Soccer - Falls Lake nudges Vance Charter

Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) fans were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Vance Charter Knights (Henderson, NC), 1-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Firebirds confront the Oxford Prep Griffins (Oxford, NC) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, August 16. Falls Lake will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Griffins enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 10-1 non-league loss to Granville Central (Stem, NC).

The Knights now have a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they host Research Triangle for a non-league challenge on Thursday, August 17.
