The Glenpool Warriors (Glenpool, OK) softball routed the visiting McAlester Buffaloes (McAlester, OK), 16-1 in Monday's league bout.

The Warriors (8-8) will now prepare for their bout against Tahlequah (Tahlequah, OK). The Tigers go into the 5A District 4 bout with a 5-6 record. In their last bout, Tahlequah was routed by Fairland (Fairland, OK), 3-2, in a non-league bout.

The Buffaloes now possess a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Durant for a 5A District 4 bout on Tuesday, August 15. McAlester will confront a Lions squad coming off a 5-4 non-league loss to Moore (Moore, OK). The Lions record now stands at 5-6.
