Georgia High School Softball - Marion County loses to Lamar County

The Lamar County Trojans softball team scored 13 runs and limited the visiting Marion County Eagles to 3 in the Trojans non-league triumph on Monday.

With the triumph, Lamar County improves its record to 4-1 on the year. The Trojans host Spalding (Griffin, GA) to encounter the Jaguars in a non-league test on Thursday, August 17. The Jaguars come into the test with a record of 3-2. Spalding won 19-3 in their recent non-league test against Eagle's Landing (McDonough, GA)

The Eagles (2-3) will now prepare for their test against Jordan (Columbus, GA). The Red Jackets come into the non-league test with a 0-0 record.
