Peach County Trojans (Fort Valley, GA) backers exited the stadium thrilled Monday as they saw their softball squad run past the host Northside Eagles (Warner Robins, GA), 12-1 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 2-0 record. They take the field next when they host Rutland for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, August 15. Peach County will battle a Hurricanes squad coming off a 9-1 non-league loss to Hawkinsville (Hawkinsville, GA). The Hurricanes record now stands at 0-2.

With the loss, Northside falls to 1-2 on the campaign. The Eagles host Thomas County Central (Thomasville, GA) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a 6A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, August 22. The Yellow Jackets enter the challenge with a record of 3-3. Thomas County Central won 13-0 in their recent non-league challenge against Crisp County (Cordele, GA)
