The Myrtle Hawks volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Biggersville Lions to 0 in the Hawks non-league victory on Monday.
The Hawks now possess a 4-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Jumpertown for a non-league game on Thursday, August 17. Myrtle will meet a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Houlka (Houlka, MS). The Cardinals record now stands at 0-2.
The Lions (0-3) will now prepare for their game against Corinth (Corinth, MS). The Warriors enter the non-league game with a 1-2 record. In their last game, Corinth was dropped by Tishomingo County (Iuka, MS), 3-0, in a league game.
