In Monday's non-league contest, the Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) volleyball squad edged the host Lincoln County Patriots (Stanford, KY), by a margin of 3-2.
Next up, the Rockets battle the Corbin Redhounds (Corbin, KY) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, August 17. Rockcastle County will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Redhounds come into the contest with a 1-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Barbourville (Barbourville, KY).
