The McEwen Warriors prevailed the host Perry County Vikings volleyball team by a score of 3-0 in Monday's non-league test.
The Warriors now have a 1-0 record. They put it on the line next when they host Santa Fe for a non-league test on Tuesday, August 15. McEwen will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Culleoka (Culleoka, TN). The Wildcats record now stands at 0-1.
The Vikings (0-1) will now prepare for their test against Loretto (Loretto, TN). The Mustangs enter the A District 11 test with a 1-0 record. In their last test, Loretto gained a win over Lawrence County (Lawrenceburg, TN), 3-0, in a non-league test.
