Carson Cougars (China Grove, NC) boosters left the game thrilled Wednesday as they saw their volleyball squad achieve victory over the host Central Cabarrus Vikings (Concord, NC), 2-0 in a non-league test.

With the win, Carson improves its record to 1-0 on the season. The Cougars travel to West Stanly (Oakboro, NC) to face the Colts in a non-league test on Thursday, August 15. The Colts go into the test with a record of 1-0. West Stanly won 2-0 in their recent non-league test against Mount Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, NC)

The Vikings now own a 1-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to East Rowan for a non-league test on Monday, August 19. Central Cabarrus will face a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Northwest Cabarrus (Concord, NC). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-0.
