The East Paulding Raiders triumphed over the visiting Harrison Hoyas softball squad by a count of 9-0 in Wednesday's non-league challenge.
Next, the Raiders meet the Kennesaw Mountain Mustangs (Kennesaw, GA) in a 5A Region 5 challenge, on Thursday, August 15. East Paulding will attempt to upgrade on its 3-1 season record. The Mustangs enter the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 13-0 league win over New Manchester (Douglasville, GA).
The Hoyas (4-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Paulding County (Dallas, GA). The Patriots enter the 6A Region 3 challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Paulding County was routed by Carrollton (Carrollton, GA), 14-12, in a non-league challenge.
