Falls Lake Firebirds (Creedmoor, NC) fans went home happy Thursday as they saw their soccer squad triumph over the visiting South Granville Vikings (Creedmoor, NC), 6-1 in a non-league outing.
The Firebirds (1-1) will now prepare for their outing against American Leadership Academy-Johnston (Clayton, NC). The Patriots enter the non-league outing with a 0-2 record. In their last outing, American Leadership Academy-Johnston was overwhelmed by East Wake Academy (Zebulon, NC), 5-0, in a non-league outing.
In their next game, the Vikings clash with the Louisburg Warriors (Louisburg, NC) in a non-league test, on Monday, August 18. South Granville will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record.
