Talihina Golden Tigers (Talihina, OK) supporters were content Thursday as they witnessed their softball team defeat the host Arkoma Mustangs (Arkoma, OK), 11-0 in a non-league battle.
The Golden Tigers now sport a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitesboro for a non-league battle on Friday, August 15. Talihina will confront a Bulldogs squad coming off a 5-0 league win over Leflore (Leflore, OK). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-0.
The Mustangs (1-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Clayton (Clayton, OK). The Bulldogs go into the non-league challenge with a 0-3 record. In their last challenge, Clayton was routed by Antlers (Antlers, OK), 16-0, in a non-league challenge.
