The Berrien Rebels overwhelmed the host Fitzgerald Purple Hurricane softball team by a margin of 15-1 in Thursday's league battle.
The Rebels now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Westminster Christian Academy for a non-league battle on Friday, August 15.
With the loss, Fitzgerald moves to 1-4 on the season. The Purple hurricane travel to Crisp Academy (Cordele, GA) to encounter the Wildcats in a non-league test on Monday, August 18. The Wildcats go into the test with a record of 2-3.
