The Jenkins Warriors softball squad (Savannah, GA), was routed 21-2 in Thursday's non-league bout with the visiting Brunswick Pirates (Brunswick, GA)

The Pirates (5-1) will now prepare for their bout against Ware County (Waycross, GA). The Gators go into the non-league bout with a 2-4 record. In their last bout, Ware County knocked off Dodge County (Eastman, GA), 4-2, in a non-league bout.

Next up, the Warriors face the Islands Sharks (Savannah, GA) in a 3A Region 3 contest, on Tuesday, August 19. Jenkins will attempt to improve on its 0-6 season record. The Sharks enter the contest with a 0-1 record after their 8-0 non-league loss to Savannah Christian (Savannah, GA).
