The Choctaw Yellowjackets edged the visiting Southmoore SaberCats softball squad by a count of 5-4 in Thursday's league challenge.
Next, the Yellowjackets play the Tuttle Tigers (Tuttle, OK) in a non-league battle, on Thursday, August 14. Choctaw will attempt to move on its 1-0 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 1-0 record after their 10-0 non-league win over Perkins-Tryon (Perkins, OK).
With the loss, Southmoore moves to 0-2 on the season. The Sabercats travel to Tuttle (Tuttle, OK) to confront the Tigers in a non-league battle on Thursday, August 14.
