Decatur Bulldogs (Decatur, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad thwart the host Lakeside Vikings (Atlanta, GA), 11-0 in a league game.

With the triumph, Decatur upgrades its record to 3-0 on the year. The Bulldogs travel to Shiloh (Snellville, GA) to play the Generals in a 5A Region 4 battle on Tuesday, August 19. The Generals come into the battle with a record of 1-1.

The Vikings (2-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Dunwoody (Dunwoody, GA). The Wildcats enter the 5A Region 4 challenge with a 1-2 record. In their last challenge, Dunwoody was routed by Roswell (Roswell, GA), 7-0, in a non-league challenge.
