In Thursday's non-league match, the host Jasper County Hurricanes softball team scored a tight 3-2 win over the Oglethorpe County Patriots.
The Hurricanes (3-1) will now prepare for their match against First Presbyterian Day (Macon, GA). The Vikings enter the non-league challenge with a 8-1 record. In their last challenge, First Presbyterian Day edged Taylor County (Butler, GA), 8-0, in a non-league challenge.
The Patriots (3-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Washington-Wilkes (Washington, GA). The Tigers enter the non-league battle with a 0-6 record. In their last battle, Washington-Wilkes was tipped by Hart County (Hartwell, GA), 5-3, in a non-league battle.
