North Oconee Titans (Bogart, GA) backers left the game pleased Thursday as they saw their softball squad nudge the visiting Madison County Red Raiders (Danielsville, GA), 7-6 in a league battle.

The Titans now possess a 2-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Walnut Grove for a 4A Region 8 battle on Tuesday, August 19. North Oconee will confront a Warriors team coming off a 6-4 non-league win over Seckinger (Buford, GA). The Warriors record now stands at 2-2.

With the loss, Madison County moves to 2-4 on the season. The Red raiders travel to East Forsyth (Gainesville, GA) to meet the Broncos in a 4A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, August 19. The Broncos enter the challenge with a record of 4-2. East Forsyth won 7-5 in their recent league challenge against Flowery Branch (Flowery Branch, GA)
