In Thursday's league test, the River Ridge Knights (Woodstock, GA) softball squad overwhelmed the host Sprayberry Yellow Jackets (Marietta, GA), by a tally of 10-1.

Next, the Knights clash with the Mount Paran Christian Eagles (Kennesaw, GA) in a non-league test, on Saturday, August 16. River Ridge will attempt to advance on its 2-1 season record. The Eagles go into the test with a 1-0 record after their 15-4 non-league win over North Paulding (Dallas, GA).

With the loss, Sprayberry moves to 3-3 on the season. The Yellow jackets travel to Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA) to encounter the Raiders in a 5A Region 6 outing on Tuesday, August 19. The Raiders come into the outing with a record of 3-4. Riverwood lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Mount Vernon (Atlanta, GA)
