Texas High School Volleyball - Canyon can't hold off Aledo

In Thursday's non-league bout, the Aledo Bearcats (Aledo, TX) volleyball team held off the host Canyon Cougars (New Braunfels, TX), by a margin of 2-1.

The Bearcats now possess a 4-0 record. They play next when they travel to Katy for a non-league bout on Friday, August 15. Aledo will confront a Tigers squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Tomas (Richmond, TX). The Tigers record now stands at 2-0.

The Cougars (4-1) will now prepare for their match against Bellville (Bellville, TX). The Brahmas enter the non-league match with a 1-2 record. In their last match, Bellville held off Cypress Springs (Cypress, TX), 2-0, in a non-league bout.
