The Alvord Bulldogs volleyball team scored 2 points and restricted the visiting Tom Bean Tomcats to 0 in the Bulldogs non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bulldogs now have a 2-1 record. They play next when they travel to Tioga for a non-league outing on Saturday, August 16. Alvord will play a Bulldogs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Van Alstyne (Van Alstyne, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-2.
The Tomcats (0-4) will now prepare for their game against Dodd City (Dodd City, TX). The Hornets go into the non-league game with a 2-1 record. In their last game, Dodd City gained a win over Pilot Point (Pilot Point, TX), 2-0, in a non-league game.
